Anfarwol gân mor deilwng yw

(Bod Duw)
Anfarwol gân, mor deilwng yw,
I'r unig wîr a'r bywiol Dduw!
  Mae ynddo'i hun bob perffaith ddawn,
  Gogoniant gwych a gras yn llawn.

Duw rodd i bob creadur Fôd,
Uwch nefoedd faith, ac îs y rhôd:
  Mae cydwybodau dynion drŵg,
  Am Dduw yn dwëyd, gan ofni'i ŵg.

Llais cyffredinol dynolryw,
A'r holl gre'duriaid yw, fod Duw:
  Troion rhagluniaeth ryfedd, rydd
  I'n eglur brawf
      fod Duw, bob dydd.

I'r uchel Dduw boed dirfawr glôd,
A chan uwch glywodd neb erio'd;
  Dewch luoedd nef, a dynion, byth
  Rhown unol fawl
      i Dduw'n ddilyth.

(God's Being)
Immortal song, how worthy it is,
To the only true and living God!
  In him himself is every perfect gift,
  Brilliant glory and grace in full.

God gives to ever creature Being,
Above the vast heavens, and under the sky:
  The consciences of evil men are,
  Telling about God, by fearing his frown.

The common voice of humankind,
And all the creatures is, that God is:
  The turns of wonderful, free providence,
  Prove to us clearly
      that God is, every day.

To the high God be excellent acclaim,
And a song louder than anyone ever heard;
  Come ye hosts of heaven, and men, forever
  Let us render united
      praise to God unfailingly.
tr. 2012 Richard B Gillion
