Yng nghyn'lleidfa rhai di-ras
Ni chaiff f'enaid ddim i'w flas,
Hoff yw gennyf, Arglwydd cu,
Ddod i drigfan dêg
dy dŷ;
Lle Dewyrcha trwy y llen
Dy ogoniant îs y nen.
O na chasgl fy enaid drud
Gyda dynion drwg y byd!
Gwared fi, fy Nuw, er dim,
A'th drugaredd estyn im':
Yna, y'nghyn'lleidfa'th saint
Y'th foliannaf am y fraint.
Casgliad o Salmau a Hymnau (Daniel Rees) 1831
[Mesur: 88.88.88] |
In the congregation of graceless ones
My soul gets nothing to its taste,
Delightful it is to me, dear Lord
To come to the fair dwelling
of thy house;
Where shines through the curtain
Thy glory below the sky.
O do not gather, my soul,
With evil men of the world!
Deliver me, my God, from everything,
And extend thy mercy to me:
There, in the congregation of thy saints
I shall praise thee for the privilege.
