Am blygu rhai o'i ras yn glau

(Derbyniad aelodau)
Am blygu rhai o'i ras yn glau
I fod yn ufydd dan yr iau,
  Clodforwn dirion nerth ein Duw
  Yn llwyddo ei efengyl wiw.

Boed iddynt mwy o ddydd i ddydd
Barhau'n ddiysgog yn y ffydd,
  Ac ymdebygu'n fwy o hyd
  I ddelw deg eu Prynwr drud.

Blagured eu santeiddrwydd gwiw
Trwy rodio'n deilwng gyda Duw;
  Gan ffyddlon aros yn dy dŷ,
  Nes uno gyda'r eglwys fry.

(The reception of members)
For the eager bowing of some by his grace
To be obedient under the yoke,
  We extol the tender strength of our God
  Prospering his gospel worthily.

May they be more from day to day
Enduring immovably in the faith,
  And becoming ever more like
  Their precious Redeemer's fair image.

May their worthy holiness flourish
Through walking worthily with God;
  By faithfully staying in thy house,
  Until uniting with the church above.
tr. 2025 Richard B Gillion
