Clywch wylwyr Duw'n rhoi llef,
  De'wch, filwyr nef, i'r maes
Yn eich arfogaeth lawn bob un; -
  Gerllaw mae'r gelyn cas.

De'wch oll, O de'wch yn awr
  Dan faner fawr y groes,
Sy'n ddyrchafedig ger eich bron:
  Un ail i hon nid oes.

Dylynwn Grist ein Pen,
  Os rhaid, trwy ddŵr a thân;
Awn ar ei ol yn arfog lu,
  Pob gelyn ffy o'n blaen.

Pob gallu iddo roed
  Trwy'r ddaear faith a'r nen;
Efe a'n ceidw,
    er ei glod,
  Nes d'od i'r nefoedd wen.

Hear the watchmen of God giving a cry,
  Come, ye soldiers of heaven, to the field
In your full armour every one; -
  At hand is the detestable enemy.

Come all ye, O come now
  Under the great banner of the cross,
Which is raised before you:
  There is nothing second to this.

Let us follow Christ our Head,
  If necessary, through water and fire;
Let us go after him as an armed host,
  Every enemy shall flee before us.

Every power to him is given
  Throughout the vast earth and the sky;
'Tis he shall keep us,
    for the sake of his praise,
  Until we come to bright heaven.

Hark, how the watchmen cry,
  Attend the trumpet's sound!
Stand to your arms, the foe is nigh,
  The powers of hell surround:

Who bow to Christ's command.
  Your arms and hearts prepare!
The day of battle is at hand!
  Go forth to glorious war!

Go up with Christ your head,
  Your Captain's footsteps see;
Follow your Captain, and be led
  To certain victory.

All power to Him is giv'n,
  He ever reigns the same;
Salvation, happiness,
    and Heav'n
  Are all in Jesus' name.
