Ar edyn cariad codwn 'nawr,

A'r dyrfa lân ar ben eu taith,
Can's maent yn un,

Un dorf yw holl was'naethwyr Duw.
Un teulu ydym ynddo Ef,
Un eglwys fawr trwy'r

Er bod Iorddonen, oerllyd li',
Yn ysgar, enyd, rhyngom ni.
Un fyddin hardd,

Mae rhan yn myned drwyddi 'nawr.

Tôn [MH 8888]: Angel's Hymn |
Let us unite with our dear friends
Who are enjoying the prizes above,
On the wings of love let us rise now,
To the vast joy that is above the earth.
Let the saints of the vast
earth sing together
And the holy throng at their journey's end,
Since they are one,
the dead and the living;
One throng are all the servants of God.
One family are we in him,
One great church throughout the
world and heaven,
Although the Jordan, a chilly flood,
Separates us for a spell.
One beautiful army,
under the Prince of heaven,
Keeping his word, and his promise as chief:
Part of the host went
through the great river -
Part is going through it now.
tr. 2023 Richard B Gillion

Come, let us join our friends above
who have obtained the prize,
And on the eagle wings of love
to joys celestial rise.
Let saints on earth
unite to sing
with those to glory gone,
For all the servants
of our King
in earth and heaven are one.
One family we dwell in him,
one church above,
beneath,
Though now divided by the stream,
the narrow stream of death;
One army of the
living God,
to his command we bow;
Part of his host have
crossed the flood,
and part are crossing now.
