Erglyw fy llais a'm gwaedd O Dduw

(Gweddi ac ymddiried)
Erglyw fy llais a'm gwaedd, O Dduw,
  Pan lefwyf arnat Ti:
Yn fore y'th geisiaf
    ac yn daer,
  O clwy a gwrando fi.

Ar bwys dy drugareddau dôf
  Yn fynych tu a'th Dŷ;
Ac yn dy ofn cyfeiriaf lais
  Fy erfyniadau fry.

Rho im' dy Yspryd pur o'r nef,
  I'm cynnal ar fy nhaith,
Hyd nes y caffwyf dy fwynhâu
  Yn nhrag'wyddoldeb maith.
Cas. o Psalmau a Hymnau (SPCK) 1861

[Mesur: MC 8686]

(Prayer and trust)
Listen to my voice and my shout, O God,
  When I cry unto thee:
In the morning I will seek thee
    and earnestly,
  O hear and listen to me.

Depending on thy mercies I shall come
  Often toward thy house;
And in thy fear I shall direct the voice
  Of my supplication upwards.

Give me thy pure Spirit from heaven,
  To support me on my journey,
Until I get to enjoy thee
  In vast eternity.
