Pechadur edifeiriol dan Dduw sy'n hollol hardd

(Edifeirwch)
Pechadur edifeiriol,
    dan Dduw sy'n hollol hardd,
Mae megis per flodeuyn,
    a gwyn eginyn gardd;
  Lle byddo duwiol dristwch,
      gwir edifeirwch fydd,
  I ddilyn y meddyliau,
      fel gwir effeithiau ffydd.

Lle delo edifeirwch,
    mae'n arwydd heddwch hir,
Maddeuant sy'n cyd redeg,
    yn wendeg yno'n wir;
  Ac yno cyd breswyliant,
      tra byddant yma'n byw,
  Nes dwyn y dyn i fynu
      at siriol deulu Duw.

(Repentance)
A repentant sinner,
    under God who is wholly beautiful,
Is like a sweet flower,
    and the white shoot of a garden;
  Where there be godly sorrow,
      true repentance shall be,
  To follow the thoughts,
      like the true effects of faith.

Where repentance comes,
    it is a sign of long peace,
Forgiveness is running together,
    fairly there truly;
  And there dwelling together,
      while ever they are here living,
  Until bringing the man up
      to the cheerful family of God.
