Trwy oriau'r nÃṀs aeth heibio,
  O Arglwydd, cedwaist ni
Yn diogel rhag yr heintiau
  A rodiai ynddi hi;
Rhag dinystr sy'n dinistrio
  Heb rybydd ganol dydd,
O Dduw, rho waredigaeth -
  Yn darian inni bydd.

Through the hours of the night
    that went past,
  O Lord, thou didst keep us
Safe from the pestilence
  That walked in it;
From destruction that destroys
  Without warning at midday,
O God, give deliverance -
  As a shield to us be thou.
