Wele yma Rosyn Saron mwyn

(Gwledd Cariad)
Wele yma Rosyn Saron mwyn,
 Y Lili mae'r dyffrynnau'n ddwyn;
A Phren y Bywyd heb ei ail,
  Ac iechydwriaeth yn ei ddail.

Fel lili yn tyfu 'mhlith y drain,
  Neu bren afalau 'mysg y rhai'n,
Un wedd 'rwy'n gwel'd fy Mhrynwr drud
  'Mhlith miloedd o gariadau'r byd.

Tan gysgod hwn i eiste' des,
  I 'mgadw rhag y poethni a'r gwres;
A'i ffrwyth oedd felus iawn ei flas,
  I borthi a llonni f'enaid lla's.

Oddi yno darfu iddo'm dwyn
  I Win-dy ei nefol
      ras yn fwyn;
Fe'm canfu'n llesg fe dannodd len
  Neu faner cariad dros fy mhen.

A bywiol fara a nefol win
  Fe lawenha'dd fy nghalon flin;
Agorodd ei feddyliau'i hun,
  Dangosodd im' mor fwyned yn'.

Na 'mad รค mi fy Arglwydd byth,
  Ond yn fy nghalon gwna dy nyth;
Tyngheda mhechod ymaith fyn'd,
  Heb ddigio mwy
      na blino'm Ffrynd.

(The Feast of Love)
See here the gentle Rose of Sharon,
  The Lily that the valleys bear;
And the Tree of Life without equal,
  With salvation in its leaves.

Like a lily growing amidst the thorns,
  Or an apple tree amongst those,
In the same way I see my dear Redeemer
  Amidst thousands of the world's lovers.

Under his shadow to sit I came,
  To keep me from the heat and the warmth;
And his fruit was of a very sweet taste,
  To feed and cheer my drooping soul.

From there it happened that he brought me
  To the vineyard of his heavenly
      grace gently;
He found me fainting he spread the sheet
  Or flag of love across my head.

With living bread and heavenly wine
  He cheered my weary heart;
He opened his own thoughts,
  He showed me how gentle he is.

Never let me leave my Lord,
  But in my heart make thy nest;
Swear my sin away to go,
  Without angering any more
      or wearying my Friend.
